Below a list of the Inter-Institutional Agreements per School and Department.

 

Library

As an Erasmus Student at the University of Piraeus you have full access to the library and the electronic depository of the University using your Student ID. Learn more about the Library of the University of Piraeus here (Link)

Restaurant

Erasmus Students can use the University Restaurant for free 3 times per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). The University Restaurant is closed during national holidays and breaks.

Healthcare

You can visit the University Doctor for free. His Office is at the ground floor of the University.

Student Support

The Student Support Office is available for Erasmus students. Specialized advisors are available to support the students during their transitions and integration to the University life.

Sports' Activities

You can use the gym facilities of Panteion University, using your Student ID.

Student Groups

As an Erasmus Student you can be a part of the student groups of our University. Here is a description of our student groups (Link).

Tour in Piraeus & Trip to Sounio

Each year we organize a trip to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Tours are also organized in Piraeus, the Archeological Museum of Piraeus and the Municipal Art Gallery of Piraeus.

Student ID Discounts

Holders of Student IDs benefit from discounts in public transport and other educational and entertainment activities.

The necessary documents for Staff Mobility for Teaching or Training are:

  1. Health Insurance, General Liability Insurance for third parties, Personal Accident Insurance valid in the EU
  2. Passport photocopy
  3. Training Agreement
  4. Grant Agreement for Staff Mobility

The first step to take part in the Erasmus+ ICM is to contact the International Office of your University. Each Partner is responsible to follow their selection proceedure and nominate students at the University of Piraeus. Only nominated students, receive an acceptance letter by our University and can proceed in the next phase of their mobility!

 

Once you have been selected, these are the important dates to keep in mind:

Winter Semester

15th of June : Deadline to receive nominations by Partner HEIs

31st of July: Deadline to submit by email your documents 

1st of October: Start of Semester

15th of February: End of Semester

 

Spring Semester

15th of December: Deadline to receive nominations by Partner HEIs

31st of January: Deadline to submit by email your documents

1st of March: Start of Semester

24th of June: End of Semester

Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility for Studies is a unique experience to study in a foreign University for 3 to 6 months.

As an Erasmus Student at the University of Piraeus, you will have the chance to take courses, attend seminars, volunteer and explore the city of Piraeus!

The University of Piraeus is divided into 4 Schools:

1. School of Economics, Business and International Studies (Link)

2. School of Maritime and Industrial Studies (Link)

3. School of Finance and Statistics (Link)

4. School of Information and Communication Technologies (Link)

UniPi is a public University whose operation is based on teaching and research. UniPi's internationalization strategy is based on European and international programmes, bilateral agreements and memorandums as well as on participation is academic and research networks.

A major target of the UniPi’s strategy is to elevate the Institution to a highly ranked modern internationalized University and a respectful international focal point in research, teaching and training concerning the field of all departments. The implementation of international high quality cooperation projects in teaching and training, especially in prostgraduate level., such as e.g. in the Era smus Mundus is expected to have a significant contribution to this key objective.
