Library
As an Erasmus Student at the University of Piraeus you have full access to the library and the electronic depository of the University. However you cannot borrow books from the Library, since Placement Students do not obtain a Student ID during their mobility. Learn more about the Library of the University of Piraeus here (Link)
Restaurant
Erasmus Students can use the University Restaurant for free 3 times per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). The University Restaurant is closed during national holidays and breaks.
Healthcare
You can visit the University Doctor for free. His Office is at the ground floor of the University.
Student Support
The Student Support Office is available for Erasmus students. Specialized advisors are available to support the students during their transitions and integration to the University life.
Sports' Activities
You can use the gym facilities of Panteion University, using your Student ID.
Student Groups
As an Erasmus Student you can be a part of the student groups of our University. Here is a description of our student groups (Link).
Tour in Piraeus & Trip to Sounio
Each year we organize a trip to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Tours are also organized in Piraeus, the Archeological Museum of Piraeus and the Municipal Art Gallery of Piraeus.
Documents needed after the acceptance:
- Photocopy of your ID or Passport
- Private Health Insurance and Public Liability Insurance
- Learning Agreement for Traineeship signed by your Home University
- 2 Photos to be used for your Restaurant Card
For a placement position in the Laboratory of Turkish and Eurasian Studies of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus, please consult the form.
In order to apply for a traineeship at the University of Piraeus, you have to send the following documents:
1. Your CV
2. A proposed Learning Agreement for Trainership
3. A motivation letter
Make sure that you send the abovementioned documents at least 1 month prior to the start of your mobility.
If you wish to undertake a mobility for placement, it is recommended to contact the Academic Coordinator of the Department that could host your research project.
