The 5th Linköping University Summer Academy invites students for Summer courses between 4th July and 29th July 2022.

The programme will give students an opportunity to study in Linköping, Sweden, for four weeks during the summer. They get to choose from several high-quality courses and gain cultural insights together with other students from their international partner universities all around the globe.

All courses are at bachelor's level, credit bearing (7.5 ECTS), will be taught in English and are full-time. For students from LiU’s partner universities the LiU Summer Academy is tuition free.

The LiU Summer Academy provides a possibility for short term exchange within the framework of our existing exchange agreement. Students who have completed 1-year full-time studies (successfully passed 60 ECTS credits or equivalent upon application) and have a good command of English as stated in our agreement are eligible to all courses. They will apply a quota of Summer Academy places and semester places based on 4:1.

They are striving for a good mix of students and partner universities are welcome to nominate a maximum of 5 students per course.

On 1st February 2022 LIU will open for students to apply on their website. Please observe that they have a limited number of student places per course and that they cannot guarantee that all the nominated students can be offered a place. The admission application deadline is 25th March, 2022 (midnight CET). To apply the student needs a transcript showing 60 ECTS or equivalent passed, as well as a nomination certificate, signed and stamped by their international coordinator.

Along with lectures and course work, they will also organize an interesting and fun social programme in cooperation with their student hosts.

Housing will be provided; a completely furnished single room with access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. LIU has an Accommodation package (including rent, bed linen, blanket, internet access, a regional bus pass, a gym membership, and a final room cleaning) for 5500 SEK.

•       Alternative Energy: the past, present, future, and inventions – NEW
•       Innovation and Entrepreneurship in a Swedish context
•       Leadership and Organizational Behaviour in Contemporary Organizations 
•       Nanotechnology - Sustainable Challenges and Social Impact
•       The Use (and Abuse) of Culture
