He is a member of the Laboratory and Teaching Stuff at the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus. He had his PhD at the Department of Communication and Media Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, his MA degree in Mass Media and Communications at the University of Leeds, and his Ptychion at the department of Business Administration of the Economic University of Athens. His most recent publications are: ‘Occupational Segregation and Gender Representation in Films’, Lambert, Saarbrücken, 2016 and 'Sociology of Art: Howard Becker's Approach' in Katsikidis & Pazarzi 'From social thought to sociological theory’ Nomiki Vivliothiki Publishing, Athens, 2016. His research interests are focused on subjects concerning Mass Media, Gender, Culture and Society.
