Steering Committees of Statistical Organizations/Societies - other activities
- Elected member of the European Regional Committee of Bernoulli Society (2012-). I received 11 votes (second best) and ranked second among 15 candidates (the top ranking candidate received 12 votes).
- Elected member of the Steering Committee of the Greek Statistical Insitute (two times, for 4 years - served as Treasurer and Secretary General)
- Member of the central committee for the National University Entrance Exams for 6 academic years. This committee is appointed by the Ministry of Education of Greece and is responsible for the ranking of high school graduates (through exams - in several disciplines, including Mathematics and Statistics - organized at national level) so that the university students be selected for all Greek Universities.
