The University of Piraeus is a member of International Organizations and networks for Higher Education. It cooperates through international and bilateral agreements with Universities and Research Centers abroad, aiming at the promotion of scientific research and the exchange of good practices and knowledge. It has signed 63 MoUs, both as a University and as seperate departments with Universities in countries outside the EU (Russian Federation, India, China, USA, Aithiopia, Australia, Kazakshtan, CERN, etc.), which foresee student and staff exchanges as well as the creation of common research programs and conferences.
