Nuertingen-Geislingen University is opening its doors both virtually and onsite from November 22-26 and are inviting you and your student community —wherever you are in the world—to discover everything Nuertingen-Geislingen University has to offer.

No matter whether

• your students are considering to study at Nuertingen-Geislingen University in Germany or
• you want our students to gain an outstanding study abroad experience at your university or
• you are interested in our research activities or
• you intend to share your teaching experience with us within the framework of Erasmus or our KSK Visiting Professorship Program,

this event is not to be missed!

After having been locked up in our home countries for over a year, everyone is now more than ever longing to travel and meet friends again. In German we have a beautiful word describing exactly this feeling: Fernweh (= the aching desire to be somewhere else). To get you started for your next trip (hopefully to Nuertingen and Geislingen J) we would like to invite all of you to inspire us with your personal favorite place. All photos of your favorite places will be merged into a “Best Places” travel book. This not only facilitates future travel planning but will also lead to vivid conversations onsite with your friends and international family during our International Week J.

To sum up, please

• see attached program flyer or jpgs at the end of this email for more details
• note that all the times indicated on our registration pages refer to the German Winter Time
• register for the events you are interested in a.s.a.p but no later than October, 15 2021
• see details of our research projects and call for cooperations in the registration form
• select as many presentation slots as possible to allow a maximum of flexibility in our planning. Thank you!
• send your prepared presentation on your university through com no later than November, 12 2021 to ensure backup if face-to-face presentation does not work
• share your favorite place for our first joint travel book “Best Places” and inspire all of us by sending an authorized photo (copyright/owner of image rights) which reflects the spirit of the location. Please do not forget to add the location of the place (as detailed as you prefer J) and an optional personal comment  to until October, 15 2021.
• All participants will receive the “Best Places” travel book in pdf format at the end of the International Week 2021.
